Different illustration styles used to bring characters to life for various projects and creative needs.
Manga Syle
I use screentones for manga styles. So, if you are seeking a manga art style, do not hesitate to contact me ; D
Comic Style
When I do comic styles, it is for the sole purpose of memes (with manhwa character design). I don’t know, I just like doing one.
Rough Styles
When drafting characters, rough art is the best technique to do. Because you don’t have to be afraid to make mistakes!
Cleaned-up Styles
This is the style that requires more precision for the line art. You have to be careful and be consistent for the strokes.
Turnarounds
Before creating an official character or brainstorming one, turnarounds are useful for me to further give consistent character identity.
Fully-Rendered Turnaround
This is the actual character’s appearance when placed on the official panels. It must be in complete colored state.
With One-Colored Version
This once came from my past school task. I made the front angle colored alone to represent how the rest of the angles will look like. This saves up time too if you are in a hurry or doesn’t require full-colored version.
Landscapes and Storyboards
Illustrated environments and scenery created to bring locations and settings to life. In storyboards, different camera angles, shots and techniques are used.
Environment
Can include scenes from everyday environments such as establishments, natural landscapes, lifestyle settings, and other surroundings that capture real-world atmosphere and context. (do not zoom-in this image for your sake)
Rough/Clean Storyboard
This is the actual draft of brainstorming how the story sequence will look like in films when camera shots are applied. This is mostly important to do for more story shot and sequence’s clarity. Sometimes, it is better to colorize it too to better visualize the story.

Hi! Yes, I have no picture here since I am currently using the free version of Figma (lots of limited-features). As a replacement, see the icon below!
Anyway, let me introduce myself...
I am Mary Roselle M. Batac, you can call me ‘Rose’. Very florent, isn’t it? I really like how it sounds! It definitely represents how I thrive for my skill growth and development with blooming wonderful art creations.
Moreover, I studied in Rizal Technological University for 4 years with the degree of Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education Major in Animation (BTVTEd-Animation). College life was indeed a nerve wracking one as teaching and technical skills must be learned at the same time! Still, it was such a great experience to become flexible and capable to work in both academic and technical industry fields
